Farmers from 18 communities of San Juan, Calpi, and San Andrés have water connections, concrete-lined canals, pipelines, bridges for irrigation, with a commitment to repay the investments made by GSD with funding from the Corporation PL-480/USDA, resources that are managed by the community itself for the community development banks, the construction of additional works for irrigation, and the maintenance of the system. |

The Coordinator Committe of the CDB and GSD discussed planting native trees by reducing the interests, estimating that the amount between US$ 0.20 and 0.30 of the interests paid for the credits of the members can be reduced for each cultivated plant.
