INCOME GENERATION
Strategy
We carried out beyond the traditional proposal of the rural development, “meeting the food requirements of the family”, by a strategy aimed at developing the productive activities with more profitability, increased value, and a permanent relation with the market.
Credit for the Income Generating Activities
GSD arranges, for women, an additional alternative to the credit channeled through the community development banks, with credits of up to US$ 300 per cycle, for the income generating activities which can develop within or beyond the production unit or community. 
The range of the activities that women are developing together with their families is varied, from a credit for the livestock raising, the most demanded one, to the one for trade, shops, small agro-industries, service centers, and various workshops.
Training

We strived to train all members and families who benefit from the credits, however, the variety of required subjects has exceeded the capacity of GSD, and therefore we opted to seek the strategic partners who support the requirements of the rural organization.
