ABOUT US
The Gender Solidarity and Development (GSD) Foundation, a young organization in the field of the rural development, takes its webpage into consideration for the purpose of sharing the experiences and achievements gained by implementing the development projects for the benefit of the disadvantaged population in the high Andean region of the central highlands of Ecuador.
GSD officially began operations in 2000, supported by Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Kellogg Foundation, and especially by the Corporation “Food Support Program PL-480/USDA”, to which the rural organizations joined, with which we worked out the strategies and new development alternatives that influenced the enhancement of the qualities of life in the rural communities, especially those located in the northern Chimborazo province.
We appreciate those who visit this webpage and send us comments in order to better share the new rural life experiences.
